Scare Mazes by nature are intense, they are designed to scare even the most fearless. It is therefore important guests arm themselves with the knowledge prior to buying tickets, allowing them to make an informed decision whether to enter or not.
For entry to our mazes, each person must hold their own paid ticket. Free carer tickets are not available. However, guests with a Ride Access Pass and a valid scare maze ticket are welcome to use the accessible entry point (timecards will not be marked). All scare mazes are wheelchair accessible.
No Scare Lanyard
We have listened to your feedback and implemented a no scare lanyard. Our roaming actors and scare zone cast have been trained not scare those who are clearly wearing one.
The No Scare Lanyard is only effective during Fright Nights in our Scare Zones. Lanyards must be worn on the outer layer of clothing and be clearly visible. Be advised if the actor cannot see the lanyard e.g., if approached from behind, or hidden under clothing – they may still scare you. Note, if entering a scare zone please expect loud noises, strobe lighting, and special effects – the No Scare Lanyard does not lessen this.
By their nature, our scare mazes are dark and intense experiences; actors are not able to easily see No
Scare Lanyards and adapt the experience quickly enough so these are not effective within mazes.
The Sunflower lanyard scheme covers a wide range of additional needs, therefore those wearing a Sunflower lanyard may still wish to experience a full scare, so be sure to pick up a No Scare lanyard instead if this is of concern.
Lanyards can be hired from Guest Services, Accessibility Kiosk, or the Fastrack Kiosk for a £5 deposit (this will be refunded when returned), card payments only. Lanyards are available on a first come first served basis and cannot be secured ahead of your visit.
Lanyards cannot be shared and are one per person. Those not wearing a lanyard will still experience scares. Please note that only lanyards supplied by Thorpe Park are effective.
