Will the Luna Cinema Drive In screenings be going ahead this week (until 1st November 2020)?
Unfortunately, we have had to take the hard decision to cancel the remaining Halloween season of screenings at Thorpe Park Resort.
Why has The Luna Cinema Drive In screenings been cancelled?
We’ve endured some extreme weather conditions in the past couple of weeks, including sustained heavy rain, meaning the ground conditions of the event site and Luna Cinema is not in a usable state. We therefore feel it would be unwise to continue with these screenings. Thorpe Park Resort and The Luna Cinema are particularly disappointed that it is adverse weather and poor ground conditions that are preventing us delivering the drive in experience we have planned.
Can I get a refund or transfer my tickets?
The Luna Cinema would love to still give you the Luna drive in experience, so they would be happy to transfer your tickets to any other screening we have scheduled for this season. They have screenings at Allianz Park in North London every day until the 1st November in the current Halloween season.
If there are no screenings that suit in the Halloween season, you can transfer to one in the Winter Season at any venue. The Luna Winter venues include Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire (just 20 minutes from Thorpe Park), as well as Allianz Park in North London and the NEC in Birmingham. If you would like to transfer your ticket to another screening this season, for either our Halloween or Winter screenings, please email firstname.lastname@example.org, stating your original booking reference and the date, venue and film of the screening you like to switch to.
Alternatively, you can also use your tickets for any screening in our entire 2021 season, including all Luna Drive In and Luna Open Air Cinema seasons.
If you’d like to carry your tickets over to next year, please email email@example.com, stating your original booking reference and that you’d like to carry over to 2021, and a member of The Luna Cinema customer services team will be able to sort this out for you.
What if none of these options work for me?
