Tickets must be pre-booked on our website, where free under 1.2m tickets will display during the booking process. A maximum of four free under 1.2m tickets can be added per booking, and at least one paid ticket must be included.
Measurement on the Day
All guests using this ticket type must visit our Ticket Sales Building for a height check before entering the park. Access will not be granted until this measurement has been completed. Height measurements are taken from the top of a persons head, we do not include additional height from hair, hats, or accessories. All tickets must also be collected from the Ticket Sales Building prior to going through security checks.
Only the height measured on the day of your visit is accepted. If a child measures 1.2m or above on arrival, a standard ticket will be required. The online advance price (£34–£42 depending on the date) will be honoured instead of the £66 on-the-day price.
In addition to this, guests should expect to be measured at each ride. Guest's ability to ride will be up to the staff's discretion.
If you or your child has a disability or limb difference which could make it difficult to check your/their height, we recommend visiting the Accessibility Kiosk prior to entry. This is located on the right-hand side after security checks.
Annual Pass Exclusions
The free under 1.2m offer is only valid with an advanced booked ticket on thorpepark.com.
Thorpe Park and Merlin Annual Passholders cannot use this offer but may request a free under 3’s ticket at the Ticket Sales office.

Under 1.2m Exclusions
Free under 1.2m tickets are not available for any of the following ticket types:
- Hotel stays
- Promotional offers (e.g. 2 for 1)
- Group bookings
- Trade partners
- Carer tickets
- Annual pass holders
- Magic passes
- Complimentary tickets
- Return Guarantee tickets or school bookings.
Adults Under 1.2m
Adults under 1.2m may use the free under 1.2m ticket and must follow the same measurement and ticket collection process.
