In the event of a ride stoppage, whilst we would always endeavour to reset the ride so you can enjoy it to its fullest extent, in some rare cases, our rides do stop unexpectedly and require an assisted exit.
If this does occur, we ask all guests to please remain calm and co-operative at all times. Our staff are highly trained and well-versed in the procedures required to safely get each guest off the attraction, and will guide you through step-by-step through every part of the process, ensuring that you know exactly when and how to move.
Specialist equipment may be required in order to complete the evacuation, which may take additional time, but please know any guests affected will be alighted from the ride as quickly as possible.
We understand that an assisted exit can impact our guest's visits but please know that guest safety will always remain our highest priority. Ride stoppages and temporary interruptions can occur as part of the normal operation of complex rides and attractions, including where systems are designed to stop automatically as a precautionary safety measure.
Any decision to evacuate a ride is made in line with strict safety procedures and operational protocols to ensure the safety of all guests. While we will always strive to minimise disruption and resolve stoppages as quickly as possible, assisted exits may take some time due to the specialist safety processes and equipment involved.
Following an evacuation, our Guest Services team may be available to discuss any immediate concerns and assess how we may best support guests based on the circumstances of the incident and the impact on their visit.
